Michigan fans should have taken pleasure in the 4 hour advertisement
of the spread offense and hope that Terrelle Pryor was watching.

Well, except that Coach Stewart ran it better than RR ever did.

Coach Stewart seemed to do a real good job cheering them on.
Jon
If you mean he looked happier on the sidelines than RR usually did, you're
right.

Otherwise, do you have a point?

My point is that it is RR's offense. He designed it...he recruited
the players...he is responsible for their success. To claim that
Stewart "ran" it is somewhat funny because I think, compared to RR, he
had very little to do with what got the program to where it is today.
And you know that.
Jon
Well, as many sportswriters made the analogy, when RR finally figured out
that Pat White was his QB, he gave him "the keys to the Ferrari."

To carry on the metaphor, the car's builder is not necessarily the best
guy to drive it.

You stupid asses. Michigan is getting a good coach who will do some
very good things for the school and program, like get rid of the
boring pocket passing game we have lost with during the latter years
of Lloyd Carr who failed to change the game with changing times.

Lloyd Carr moving on is a good thing. If RR is only there for 3 to 5
years, so what. Someone else will ride in an continue with the
success or new brand of football. Remember, UM has set the pace for
football in modern times, and it will continue into the future. All
the rest have followed.

Did that 180-degree turn give you whiplash at all?

Going from "do some very good things for the school and program, like get
rid of the boring pocket passing game" to "UM has set the pace for
football in modern times" can cause real neck damage if your're not
careful.

"Three yards and a cloud of dust" has NEVER "set the pace for modern
football" at any time.

Still, have fun losing to OSU for the next 3-5 years, or as long as RR
lasts in AA.

Don't go to the bank with that Forest Gump. OSU's patsy schedule over
the next 3-5 years will bite them in the ass for sure. It is only
luck, and luck only, that they are in the NC game. If they did not
have such a good traveling fan base $$$, they would not be playing in
the NC game. And as it is turning out, fans do not seem to be
traveling well this year.

past six years, has it?
