Pretty soon, Miami will be back in the camo fatigues, date raping
sorority chicks, beating up their girlfriends, cheating to get federal
loans, and standing as a shining beacon in an area of the country
better known for drug smuggling than the admittedly beautiful beaches.

Sam,

You know you're just going to rile up Miami on this!!!

Guys - Good luck in the ACC...however, remember, this is a Big East
board...go back the ACC board!

P.S. We are getting better...too bad you guys are leaving...it could
have been fun over the next 5 years.

I am shocked, SHOCKED, that Slime-ami would still resort to petty
criminals! I had thought bolting for the ACC was a sign that they had
moved on to white-collar crime.

They're going head-to-head against FSU now, gotta keep up!

I'm wanting to hear more about this kid's high school coach.

(Correct me if I'm wrong, as if I need to say that) But the claims
that he had no idea that this guy had been in trouble with the law.

That makes him either (a) a liar or (b) a coach who is totally
indifferent to what his guys are doing.

Either way, that coach is the one who is the HUGE loser out of
this, in my opinion.

Not just his high school coach: the "U", too. I mean, this kid went
to high school IN Miami. You have to figure the high school coach and
the Miami guys are full of it when they're saying they never heard of
any of this kid's priors. Just from grapevine alone, from other
players, cops who are Miami fans, local prosecutors who are Miami
fans, etc., you figure they would have gotten a warn-off from this
guy.

Look: I understand where some of the kid's defenders are coming from.
I understand that young kids make stupid mistakes, and apparently this
kid is very personable and likable.

HE'S STILL BEEN ARRESTED MORE THAN TEN TIMES.

That isn't "the kid made a mistake". That's being a complete
dumbshit.

And speaking of dumbshits, and in the interests of full disclosure and
fairness, both VT and WVU have had some problems on that mark lately,
but we'll discuss that at another time.
