Apparently will stop there unless Nova moves up their program. 17
basketball schools.
Jon
Well, well, how about that. Instead of being picked apart, the BEst is
expanding as a conference with a lot to offer schools interested in
championships over money. Who woulda figured that one out...

I wonder if TCU being a BCS school will make TCU more attractive for a
raid target at a later date?

TCU is now a school among others in a BCS conference, not necessarily
one that stands alone in itself as a BCS school. Their reasons for not
going to some other BCS conference are now the same as every other
BEst team.

As the Big Ten found out earlier this year, there is very little if
any motivation to leave the BEst. That could change with time, but I
don't see TCU as unique to or more motivated than any other BEst
school.

how did the Big Ten find out that??? If any BE school had been
offered membership they would have left the BE in a heartbeat

If any BE school had been offered membership
Can we be sure they were not.
they would have left the BE in a heartbeat
I think the worth of the BEst is underestimated.

There isn't a single BE school outside of ND that wouldn't join the
B10 if invited. The problem is the B10 doesn't want them.
